GLOSSYBOX is a product of Beauty Trend GmbH and one of the
currently most exciting Rocket Internet ventures. We are an ecommerce
retail company that specializes in providing monthly subscriptions of
product samples in the beauty, fashion and lifestyle segments. Since launch in March 2011 the company’s growth has been tremendous:
With over 300 employees we are already active in more than 20 countries
worldwide and will increase this number in 2012. We are also working on
establishing our concept in other exciting markets and entering additional
segments. Our GLOSSYBOX Style is an international online style community
working with top stylists from Milan, London and New York. Using a
style-test, we determine the individual fashion profiles of our members
and then present in a monthly personal showroom the highlights and
latest fashion trend accessories for sale. All products are exclusively
created for us and available via an open form of membership. In the course of our further expansion we are seeking for energetic,
hard-working and fun people who aren’t scared of taking on a lot of
responsibility really quickly. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced,
international and dynamic environment with potential for significantly
greater responsibilities. The place of business will be Berlin. You will take part in field research to identify customer’s expectations
and are in charge of translating market input into innovative designs for
our women’s footware or/and handbag lines. You contribute design
solutions and use knowledge of costing to develop efficient products. You are responsible for the conceptualization and development of our
footware or/and handbag line for a specific target market and demonstrate
knowledge of materials, pattern making and the fitting of design. You
develop and create illustrations and technical drawings for new design
concepts and work – closely with our Style-team – on merchandising
our product lines. You are responsible for technical sketches,
specifications, preparation of line sheets, material research as well as
the sample line and fit corrections. • You have broad experience within the design industry and solid
knowledge of working across a range of web design projects from
websites to new media and print.
• You are detail-oriented, deadline driven and able to multi-task with
organizational and time management skills.
• You are pro-active and able to show initiative and ideas to constantly
improve the editorial quality of our website. Beside you have Photoshop
skills and proficient knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign.
• You have the ability to work quickly from the creation of the concept to
the finished product.
• You speak and write fluent English, ideally
